OUTREACH

SAFE TRICK OR TREAT:

M.O.R.T. actively participates in the Mount Olive Key Club's annual Trick-or-Treat event.

We engage with the future generations of STEAM enthusiasts by showcasing our robot and providing an interactive station for children to view and play with the robot - reaching nearly 4000 annually.

This Initiative is designed to foster and nurture early interest in STEAM among the younger members of the community, aligning with Mount Olive's commitment to empowering its residents, particularly the youth, through educational and recreational programs

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT:

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

National Night Out provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

M.O.R.T. joins National Night Out to provide the opportunity to bring knowledge of FIRST, STEAM, and Robotics by presenting our robot and showcasing its abilities

CLOTHING DRIVE:

M.O.R.T.'s active involvement in the Red Cross Clothing Drive reflects our commitment to community service and philanthropy.

In 2022 we donated 1,962 pounds of clothes, and in 2023 our donations increased by 40% to over 3000 pounds.

This significant contribution demonstrates M.O.R.T.'s dedication to making a positive impact and supporting vulnerable communities through charitable Initiatives.
